Travel Nova Scotia print features the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse at dusk. Red skies at night, sailors delight! This rural community is approximately a 50 minute drive south from the provinces capital of Halifax.
The lighthouse sees around 700,000 visitors a year. If you plan on making a trip to this picturesque village, stay safe by keeping away from all rocks near the water’s edge and be extra mindful of slippery dark-coloured rocks. If you fall in the water, it is unlikely you will be able to get back out - the unique landscape makes rescue very difficult.
